  1. Speak from the heart. When you discuss the topic focus on the positives. “I love you and want to be with you as long as possible. So let’s make some healthy choices together starting next week.”
  2. Do your part. Plan ahead to make better choices easier when going to a restaurant look at the menu online. First, so you’re prepared to make wise choices.
  3. Be a cheerleader. Think of your healthy lifestyle as a commitment to each other in a way to grow closer. Keep each other informed of how well you’re doing on a daily basis.

 

Additional tips to learn about yourself and your significant other:

  1. Weight yourself every morning when you first get up to see the impact of foods from the prior day.
  2. Do not drink water prior to a meal, it dilutes stomach acids and can hinder proper digestion.
  3. Find out what works for you listen to your body
  4. Hiccups, belching, gas, inflammation, mucus, nausea, rashes, diarrhea, constipation, headaches, fatigue, lethargy, needing to sleep after you have eaten, drowsiness, poor memory, poor concentration, mental agitation, mood swings, compulsive eating, food cravings, sugar craving, carbohydrate and starch cravings, water retention, weight problems, mood swings, depression, restlessness, irritability, migraines, swollen and painful joints, muscle pain, stiffness, bloating, flatulence, indigestion, heartburn, blurry eyes, spots in front of eyes, restless sleep, broken sleep.
